Johny and the Reds Be Good!!

Ok, I know its still early...but the Reds look great so far even though the record just looks average. They haven't hit yet but they will. They have played pretty good teams so far and have outplayed most of them. And the pitching!!! The Reds are full of good pitching!!! Cueto has been lights out, Volquez has been electric, Harang has been an average Harang (which is much better than an average anyone else). Fogg has gotten one bad start and one good one, and Arroyo hasn't looked great. Burton has been great in the pen and Cordero has done his job when called upon. Merker looks better than he has in 5-6 years. I just looked up team pitching stats and they look good. Very good. The Reds have allowed only 22 walks in 10 games (nearly the best in baseball, probably will be through 10 games). They have struck out the most batters in baseball. A lot of those stats are greatly helped by Cueto who has not allowed any walks in 2 great starts!! And the news just gets better and better. Belisle looked great in rehab start, Bailey looked good in his AAA start, and some guy named Lehr took a perfect game to the 8th in AAA. Dusty has been using his pen wisely, and hasn't let Cueto or Volquez throw over 100 pitches yet. Once the Reds start hitting....just a little even, they will be a very hard team to beat day in and day out.
