First Impressions: Nikon D300

WOW. I expected a lot and I got more than I expected. The very first thing you notice is the beautiful 3 inch LCD screen in the back. Its has nearly 3-4 times the resolution and its a half inch bigger than the D200's. The feel and handling is great. Every button seems to be in the right place. The features this camera has seems to give limitless options. The ISO quality seems to be better than I expected as well, however I have not taken off the in camera noise reduction yet. I plan to do some comparison shots soon. And of course the auto-focusing system is simply amazing. I paired my D300 with my 70-200mm VR lens and was blown away by how fast and accurate the focusing was. I can't wait to shoot something worth showing on here soon. Until then you get boring (but amazingly sharp pictures) of my cat.
